About Dr. Brenna Hicks

Host of the Play Therapy Podcast, and the Play Therapy Parenting Podcast, Brenna is passionate about educating and equipping parents and play therapists across the globe.

Since 2006, Brenna has served children and families as the owner of The Kid Counselor Center, where she also trains and supervises other play therapists.

Brenna is dedicated to realizing her vision of “a world full of happy kids who become happy adults.”  She pursues this mission by supporting children and families at her center in Tampa, Florida, while also coaching child-centered play therapists globally. Recognizing the profound impact of child-centered play therapy, Brenna believes that fostering a community of skilled and compassionate practitioners can exponentially impact the well-being of children worldwide.
